Certain major changes have been brought in by the Companies Act through the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2017. These amendments will be effective from the dates notified for the same. Certain Rules have also been amended, effective from 26th Jan 2018.

Amendments have also been made in some of the Rules notified under Companies Act.

The Rules that have been amended are:

1. Companies (Registration offices and fees) Rules

2. Company (Incorporation) Rules

3. Companies (Appointment and Qualifications of Directors) Rules

The amendments to Companies Act will be effective from the dates notified for the same.

The amendments to the Rules are effective from 26th January, 2018.
